Netsweeper is pleased to announce the Netsweeper 8.2.8 GA Release. This release fixes critical issues in 8.2.7 GA fixing stability issues for the Policy Service, Reporter Service, Protocol Engine, WebAdmin interface and WebAdmin APIs.
All customers are recommended to upgrade to the 8.2.8 GA release. Netsweeper reminds customers EL6 extended support ended March 2024, so all customers who have not migrated already should plan to do so as soon as possible for security related purposes. The Netsweeper version 8 series will only be available on the EL8 platform, and customers are expected to migrate to the EL8 base in the 7.2 release before planning the upgrade to Netsweeper 8 or above.
If you have any questions or concerns about planning an upgrade to this release, please contact Netsweeper Technical Support (support@netsweeper.com).
