Netsweeper is pleased to announce the release of Netsweeper 9.1.12 GA. The 9.1.12 release has achieved the General Availability milestone and Netsweeper encourages all customers to upgrade their production environments to Netsweeper 9.1. The 9.1.12 release focused on performance optimizations and fixing variances to improve stability. The Netsweeper 9.1 release is now feature complete; future 9.1 builds will focus on critical P1 stability, security, and performance optimizations. All customers should already be running the 9.1 release in their test environments and actively plan the upgrade to the 9.1 GA release.
The 9.1.12 GA release now allows the Reporter to Report on any Group in any Organization the Account creating the Report has access to, similar to the 8.2 and prior releases. Over the next few release cycles we will be transitioning back to having the Reports and Reporter bound to a single Organization. It is important to create unique Organizations moving forward as you onboard customers, and create distinct organization units that identify groups of users, schools, end customers, or sites.
Our focus is now on the feature development of the 9.2 release series. This is a sort development cycle and we expect the 9.2 GA release in the fall of 2026. We encourage all customers to provide feedback so we can improve and stabilize the product for your requirements and production environment.
If you have any questions or concerns about planning an upgrade to this release, please contact Netsweeper Technical Support (support@netsweeper.com).
