Overview
Netsweeper can be configured to allow the Ninja RMM software to function properly by adding a series of required rules. These rules should typically be added to a Shared List in the Netsweeper WebAdmin interface and then applied to the appropriate Groups. Alternatively if you are using Client Filter, you could add the rules to an Exception List.
This document outlines the steps necessary to configure Netsweeper to permit traffic for Ninja RMM.
Required Rules for Ninja RMM
The following URLs and domains must be allowed in your Netsweeper configuration to ensure Ninja RMM software functions correctly:
agent-eu-central.ninjarmm.com
connect-eu-central-s13.ninjarmm.com
decrypt://agent-eu-central.ninjarmm.com
decrypt://ninjarmm.com
decrypt://sentinelone.net
decrypt://agent-eu-central.ninjarmm.com
euce1-ninjaone.sentinelone.net
ioc-gw-prod-eu-1a.sentinelone.net
ninjarmm.com
resources.ninjarmm.com
sentinelone.net
These rules should be added as a Shared List or Exception List to ensure they apply across relevant Groups and Policies.
Steps to Add Rules Using Netsweeper WebAdmin
1. Log in to WebAdmin
Log in to the Netsweeper WebAdmin portal with your Account credentials.
2. Access the Lists Section
- Navigate to Policies > Lists > Shared.
- Here, you will manage and create Lists of allowed or blocked URLs and domains.
4. Create a New Shared List
- Click Create New List, and choose to create a Shared List.
- Name the list (e.g., Ninja RMM Allow List).
5. Add Rules to the Shared List
-
In the new list creation screen, input the following URLs and domains, ensuring that the Action for each is set to Allow:
6. Save the Shared List
- After inputting the rules, click Save to store the Shared List in the system.
7. Apply the Shared List to Required Groups
- After saving the List, you must apply it to the relevant Groups or Policies.
- The easiest way to do this is by choosing your List and selecting the Policies tab.
- Use the Assign to Policies field to select the Group(s) that needs access to Ninja RMM.
- Select the Submit button to apply your changes.
8. Verify Traffic
- Once the policy has been applied, check the Request Logs in Netsweeper to ensure that the Ninja RMM-related traffic is no longer blocked and the software can communicate properly.
