After the GA release of Netsweeper Version 8.2.12, some issues were discovered which require patching. This is an interim solution until Version 8.2.13 is released.
Solution
The following patches address two issues of concern.
- A Memory leak in nsd is fixed with the following patch:
dnf upgrade -y \
https://repo.netsweeper.com/tickets/Ticket-NS2422-8.2.12.109-memleak/ns_policyserver-8.2.12.109-1.el8.x86_64.rpm \
https://repo.netsweeper.com/tickets/Ticket-NS2422-8.2.12.109-memleak/ns_policyserver-debuginfo-8.2.12.109-1.el8.x86_64.rpm- Directory Sync issues are fixed with the following patch:
dnf upgrade -y https://repo.netsweeper.com/tickets/Ticket-NS2383-dirsync-circlemember-8.2.12.103/ns_dirsynch-8.2.12.103-1.el8.noarch.rpm
Note: The above commands need to be run as root.
